Murthy farm is spread over 12 Acres of land. There are two Polyhouses covering an area of 1.25 Acre and two Shade net houses covering an area of 2 Acres. Following methodology has been adopted for innovative and optimum use of crucial natural resource:

  • Installed a fully automated water distribution system from Netafim, which automatically controls the use of water to the entire farm.

  • Venturies are used to feed micronutrients and ‘Jeevamrut’on a regular basis to the entire farm/crops.

  • Every crop is grown through drip irrigation, saving over 70% of water when compared to flood irrigation.

  • Roof water harvesting and well refilling.

  • Contour trenches have been dug in 1.50 Acre Horticulture farm which can conserve a minimum of 10.00 Lac litres during monsoon season ever year.

  • Precision farming technique is adapted to reduce water evaporation and weed management.
